Hen with watery stools & dirty feathers

I have a 1 1/2 yro hen that recently was secluding herself in the coop & not moving around much. She also has fecal material in her tail feathers. I brought her inside, soaked her in Epsom salts. Noticed she had a bumblefoot which we cleaned out. She's eating/drinking and walking around but STILL has a dirty bumm and watery stools. She eats layer crumbles and scratch feed in small amounts. What can I do to help her? Rosemarie

I personally don’t worm mine (I need to) but I just thought that might be a cause. It could be other things, that was just a possibility. @Eggcessive can probably help more than I can here.

I wormed her and gave poultry cell & b vitamins. Stools firmed up & she seemed better. I put her back in the coop with the flock (that I have also wormed) and she's secluding herself. I've had to bring her inside the coop for the past 2 nights. What else can I do for her?

You can give her red meat and some scrambled eggs to get her energy back. That's what I do for mine. I'm so glad she's better!!

Sadly she passed away this afternoon out with her friends.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Great job doing everything you could for her! It's always so hard to lose a member of the flock, but we're all here for you and we understand. She's in a better place now.
