Hen won't eat pellets, now really skinny

I like the idea of the soupy pellets, I'll try in the morning. I don't have nutri drench (not sure it's available here?) But I have poultry spice so I'll add a bit of that and see.

I have some growers pellets, should I give her that? Perhaps the layers pellets are not good for her while she's not laying?

She may well still have worms, as when I wormed them I put the meds in the pellets... Which she didn't eat

By the way, her comb has always been droopy like that, but it has turned an odd purplish colour.

Hi everyone,
I have an exchequer leghorn hen who is 3 years old. She's always been fed on layers pellets, but recently has stopped eating them. I didn't notice at first because she still eats the treats that we occasionally give them. When I saw her looking a bit lethargic I wormed all the hens. But a couple of weeks later she was still looking droopy and lethargic so I had a closer look and discovered she is bone thin. As an emergency measure I fed her half a weetabix in milk, which she scoffed. I did that for 3 days, and she perked right up, but as soon as I stopped she went back to being lethargic. Her crop is always flat (except when I've just given her weetabix!) I have put garlic and/or apple cider vinegar in their water quite often. It seems she just won't eat pellets, but will eat other things. Any ideas?

My girls were eating pellets but not like they did with the grower i was feeding them. What I did was started wetting the pellets down to the point they break down and they ate like little piggies. So maybe give that a try with her and see if it makes a difference

I would give her grower and in a wet form.
I mix enough water in the feed to make it like oatmeal consistancy.

Actually it's duck starter that I had so I gave her that. She ate some dry which was a good start. I added water and she ate a bit more, but not as enthusiastically as weetabix. I'll try her again in a few hours.
Interestingly, when she's in sunshine her comb goes back to red... Perhaps it goes purple when she's cold? As the run is in shade and she's not eating or moving around much she's probably cold much of the time.
