Hens or roosters early guesses

I too think 1, 3, 4 and 5 as Cockerels and only 2 looks to be your pullet so far. That can always change as they get a bit older. I have an Easter egger with a large comb at 2 weeks but is still showing pale at 12 weeks and has no male feathering so don't lose all hope just yet, but be prepared. My first straight run hatching I had 4 out of 4 roosters 😬

I swear it's a survival tactic.
'Be adorable to the human so they can't get rid of us. Start early so we melt the hearts, then they might put up with our early morning calls' 🤣
Yes, except number 3 has been a brat since day 1. I kept telling her if she ended up being a rooster i would eat her. 🤣

What do i do with all these roosters?
I know i will probably keep number 1 because it is very sweet and tame. I guess someone might want the belgian d'uccle roosters because they are a more unique breed...
And i guess i can eat number 3 because that one has the worst personality ever. I just know it would be one of those nasty roosters who attacks people.

Lol, I understand your predicament... I had so many roos the first time around. Long story short, I ended up with 3 pullets out of 9. I kept 1 rooster and culled the 5 boys. The final rooster also turned into a jerk so he became soup too, which my hens seemed surprisingly OK with.

Round 2, looking like a fair few pullets and only 2 boys this time.

As someone wise on this forum once said. 'Roosters can be problematic. Eat the problems, they're delicious problems to have.'
