Never. Took the door down and replaced it with an Omlet one which has worked flawlessly.

Ugh. So much hassle. So much expense. I'm hoping I used a credit card. Somehow I doubt it. Want a chargeback. Cannot afford to buy yet another door. This one cost me about 500 total with WiFi. The 40.00 chicken run door works better!

Yeah, while the replacement door I was sent did work as intended for the most part, I found that anytime we had a brief power outage it would open when the power came back on, leaving my flock exposed in the middle of the night. I've disconnected it and now I close my $300 chicken door with a hook and eye closure. Sigh.

So sorry to hear that! Yes, I wasted $ on Hentronix but figured it was worth getting rid of. I now use the Omlet doors on my 3 coops - not the Wi-Fi version, just battery operated and I never have a problem with any of them. It’s worth my peace of mind.
