This calm, "teddy bear" breed will reach 9-12 lbs as adults and fryer size by 8-12 weeks old. They have an excellent dress weight of 65%. Perfect for homesteaders and backyard meat production.

We breed year-round and for hardy, disease-resistant, heat-tolerant rabbits. Our prices start at $40 ea for 8 week old kits without pedigrees. Pedigrees are an extra $10. All have paperwork and can be tattooed on request.

We are located about 30 mins west of Atlanta, just above I-20. Delivery or meet-ups can be arranged as we travel often.

How heat tolerant?

What do you do for heat mitigation, are the kits started inside (A/C) or outside?

What's logetivity for nonbreeding does, not for food?

Wow, that's weird, it does redirect here. Try the link on my signature.

We have two fans in the barn (always running) and occasionally put wet blankets over the cages for evaporative cooling (when over 95). They eat frozen carrots too if it's going to be over 100. The babies are born and raised outside. I don't bring them inside. They crawl to a less fluffy side of the nest when hot and snuggle towards the back when cold.

Not sure what the longevity would be on a pet doe. We breed all of ours. Most people that buy our purebreds breed them too. Only death I've heard of was due to stray dog. Oldest ones are probably 3-4 years now,

Thanks for the info I'll keep that in mind, i wouldn't need a purebred or paperwork unless the heat tolerance is part of the purebread package.

We expect my doe now to live between 7-10 years as a standard eared broken English, I also am fond of dutch-

The lionheads are not quite as long lived based on the breeder I got them from.

We are planning on going to the ALBC annual conference this fall. We'd be glad to deliver there for free, if you or someone you know is going. Also, we may be able to find someone willing to take some north on the Rabbit Relay group. How many would you be interested in?

Darn it! I was just in Atlanta a month ago :( I got my chocolate SF in Minnesota on the way home, but would've loved to pick up an extra doe from you...

Where is this being held? I'm only looking at getting another doe. I've got enough bucks.

I think you may have contacted me about getting some, but my email sucks and never sent the replies to you.
