Last week I have hatched a baby chick from the incubator and I have been feeding the baby chick mullet and mealworms plus grubs. I am planning to buy feed and I don’t know where to start. Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

Is this chick all alone?

Chick starter/grower feed containing 20% protein will be the thing to buy.

Provide a heat source leaving part of the brooder cooler to allow the chick to choose the right temperature.

The chick needs some sand or chick size granite grit to help digest anything that is not commercial chick crumbles/pellets.

And of course, it needs at least one, better two other chicks of similar age as company.

Yea it’s the only baby chicken since all my other chickens are grown adults

Could I just feed chick feed crumble as their whole meal or do I have to mix and match?
