(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My wife and I both had chickens as kids, but none at the moment.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
No chickens yet, but do have 104 quail and 36 pheasants and have a lot more birds coming.

(3) What breeds do you have?

At the moment raising quail and pheasants, our farm is made up of Chukar, Snowflake, and Mexican Speckled bobwhites and different colors of Coturnix.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

The best part of raising these beautiful birds is becoming self sufficient and learning something new.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy coding on my own private game server, and building websites.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

My wife and I have been married now going almost two years, currently no children I do have an eleven year old son from my previous mirage.
Together we have more than one hundred small pet fish, six dogs, four cats, and 104 quail and 36 pheasants. We incorporated or farm the beginning of this year, still very new and clearly uneducated in the industry, hoping to learn from the amazing members of this community who have devoted their lives to this way of life.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D

Google was nice enough to provide me the link to this site, a few hours, have a desire to learn and socialize with like minded people.
