This goose has been raised with chickens not geese and was started out on goose food but aparently has been eating chicken food for a while now...
I'm worried becuse (noodle... his /it's name ) has a very SOFT Bill and knob ! Not as in squishy... as in extremely soft leather... possible nutritional thing ?
I'm trying to get pore noodle acclimated with the girls but he's scared to death of them and they chase him. He loves people and loves to even come in the house . Not... a very practical thing lol still working on his living qt just have had him 2 days and he dose not seem to want to eat much..

I don't think k so my 3 girls were never... I'd say soft... not squishy... or more to the point his bill and knob just don't seem to have the hardness.... the outhers do...
And his beak has an odd... shriveled look... is it normal ?
The problem is I don’t have breeds with knobs so I don’t know what’s normal or not. I thought ganders had bigger knobs than females and I’ve heard that some of it is flesh from someone who said that their gander had a fleshy knob, but ultimately I don’t know.

No mine are all firm (not hard its a the knob skin and tissue bump boney). the leathery thing is a little concerning. How old is he Looks like a old gander a bit. would like to see a full picture of him. and know his age. By head shot looks like he is 12 or more years.
He's 6 months old ! 😳
