I'm a suburban/city girl who is trying to become a country girl. 4 years ago my husband rescued me from Academia, and now I've traded a silent library corner for a crowded messy cottage with three kids in 3 years. It's wonderful and exhausting. And yes, I'm beyond overwhelmed.

So naturally, 5 days before our third girl was born he decided it was time for us to rescue 10 little one week old chicks. I was skeptical. And now I'm obsessed with chickens.
