Hi all!
We just got 10 Barred Rock chicks last Thursday from a local Tractor Supply. So far, most of them are doing okay (unfortunately, one already passed on 
and we've got one in rough shape...trying to nurse him back to health). This is our first time with chickens, so we have learned A LOT over the past week.
Our motivation is to move a little closer to self-sufficiency and we have the space for it.
Outside of our chickens, my husband and I spend a lot of time outside and we like to brew beer!
I stumbled across BYC while doing some Googling about our chicks and it seems like there is a ton of great content and discussion threads! Hoping to gain some insight on what is going on with one of my chicks and learn from y'all!
