High pitched cough

I have a young chicken with a high pitched cough no other symptoms, lungs sound clear
Been treating with Tylan how long before she improves

How long has she been coughing? Is the area where she is dusty?

Are you sure it's coughing, not sneezing? How much tylan have you been giving and for how long.

Make sure there are no environmental reasons for the noises she is making, such as dust, mold, or other reasons. High pitched noises might be snicking or sneezing. If it happens every few minutes, it could be infectious bronchitis or irritation from dust or feed. If it is occasional or just when she eats, it probably isn’t anything serious.

About a week, no it’s not dusty, I mean I use sand in my coops but have for years. And they free range so not alot of time in the coop

She had Tylan for one week
