I went to the smokies with my grandpa in July and we hiked for a week straight, that trail looks familiar! I don’t think we went the whole way but it was so cool! We tried to go to clingmans dome but we didn’t bring enough sweaters, and it was too foggy to see so we went a bit lower and it was still really cool! We camped about five minutes from the park. Here is our favorite trail. It’s in the Smoky Mountains in TN. It’s almost 11.5 miles out & back with a 3,000’ elevation gain. It’s a killer but we’ve hiked it the past 5 years & are planning on a 5th this fall.
This video is long but I left out a lot & tried to get most of the harder sections so that anyone interested in trying this trail would be able to see just how hard it is.
