Hoop coop huddle box done!

Check out my hoop coop mod! The body is an old cabinet I scrounged, modified to fit and laid on its side. The top and the bottom open separately for cleaning, etc. It's supported by 4 deck blocks and scrap 4x4, raising it so the girls don't loose and floor space. The curved plywood at the top is a false front to keep the chickens from roosting on the top. A few more scraps for ladder and perch... Voila! And totally free.

I'm inordinately proud of myself; usually I need to call a contractor to unwrap a bar of soap.

I've taken down the old perch so hopefully they will find this box conducive to a good night's rest.
