Could he be a POA? Super cute.

I was told he most likely was a POA and that’s what I am assuming, but I was also told he was 4 and my vet said he was 2 at most lol He was bought at auction by the previous owner and they said they were told he was possibly a POA. When he moves you can tell he definitely has a lot of Arab blood which a true POA should have. I just wish he had papers it would be cool to see what lines he had. He is FAST, can stop on a dime and can take the sharpest turns like no little pony I have seen. I am thinking about training him as a little rodeo pony for my son who wants to try his hand at rodeo (school sports here).

Here’s my newest question! What’s your favorite horse color? My favorite is bay with little to no white markings.

Call me boring, but my favorites are black, dark bay, and plain red bay. I also love Appys, though.
I'm one of those "a good horse is never a bad color" people, but I would never want to own a grey or cremello, because not only are they hard to keep clean, they tend to be susceptible to melanomas.
But so are Appys, so go figure.

I've never owned a chestnut/sorrel, but always heard people say Chestnuts are more feisty, especially "Red Mares." I've ridden a few, they seemed average feistiness to me, but those of you who have red mares, do you think this is true?

I had a chestnut welsh mare that was an angel and my chestnut Morgan x Arabian that I mentioned above just wanted to watch the world burn. So my experience has been 50/50 so far

It may sound weird, but my uncle was a cowboy out west taught me this trick- grab both their top and bottom lip wiggling them around for a second or two. It catches them off guard, they absolutely hate it and get the picture pretty quickly. Little Apple was a brat when he arrived and bit my arm when I was leading him. Quicker than he could blink I had both of his lips and boy was he ever startled. He tried a couple more times and he was met with me immediately grabbing his lips he stopped that crap.

We have a horse that loves having his lip rubbed though, so just be aware, there are weirdos! All our boys are doofuses and don't mind having their faces messed with, because they are constantly using their faces to mess with things.

A sheltie! I loved my sheltie/ German shepherd cross! The very sweetest dog. Got her when she was 9, but she was still pretty rambunctious sometimes. Shelties are wonderful dogs!
