How big of a run for 10-12 chickens?

I sent this to my FIL last night. With the caption:
See that red laser line? On a harbor fright special skill saw. Don't think your dewalt has it. Just saying..lol

He's all into the big brand name items. He got his boxers in a bunch when we mentioned buying a new air framer nail gun and some other odd end tools from Harbor Freight. I like to stir the pot whenever possible... hehe

@Finnie check out Harbor Freight. They have reasonably priced tools. not brand names, but if you're like me and use things like a table saw or what not, only for odd and end projects, their products will fit the bill. I got my 10" sliding table saw for like $90ish after their 25% off coupon last summer. I got tired of borrowing my dad's. It might not last me 20 years, but for the price, if I get 4-5 yrs, I'm good.

If you have a store nearby, you must GO! It's like a candy store.

I've had to avoid harbor freight, i can get in trouble in there, LOL

Their brand of power tools is Chicago Electric. For the casual user good enough for sure. Their hand tool brand is Pittsburg, and they carry a lifetime warranty.

Sign up to get their coupons mailed and emailed. They almost always have a free 'something' and you can sometimes get a 20 or 25% off your whole purchase coupon as well.

Also, if you ask the cashier, they also almost always have a discount coupon of some amount under the counter they'll use if you just ask

Oh man! Does that red laser allow you to cut free hand?

I bought my hole saw kit on line from Harbor Freight. I was really glad to find a low cost one, because all I needed was the 3" size for making a feeder out of a 5 gal bucket. All the 3" size single ones I could find were an arm and a leg because they are geared towards professionals. So it was nice to be able to find what I needed at a cheap price.

Now I am on their email list, so I guess I should actually look at those for coupons. But I don't really need to buy many tools. My husband has been stocking up for years. And he inherited all the tools from his pack-rat dad, so he has extra sets of most hand tools to give to our boys, and probably to our girls, too, if they want them.

I found the power sheet metal shears on Amazon. I'm just wondering if I am going to be cutting $80 worth of wire to make it worth buying them. Well, Mother's Day is coming....

In my book, cutting one piece of HC is worth it. Although I'm currently using tin snips...wahh

ohh look, Harbor Freight has HD metal shears for $47. @PapaChaz would these work on the HC or welding wire?

And i know what you mean by pack rat dads. My FIL is the same way. When he gives me a hard time about me buying Harbor Freight tools, I remind him that they will last me long enough to inherit his high $$ brand name collection *snort*

It's all with sincere love and playful banter. My husband is an only child. My MIL and I keep these boys in line ;)

(My in laws are truly wonderful people. I'm very blessed to have a wonderful extended family.)
