How dangerous is my garden

I am a first time duck mama and avid Gardner. My ladies will be one years old in May. I have an established garden in my yard and spent much of last summer moving things that I found were definitely toxic to my ducks. My problem is that I have read many articles, seen many lists and have read many personal experiences that do not always agree on what is good and bad. And sometimes, especially with weeds I find in the yard, I cannot find the plant listed at all. How worried do I need to be if I make a mistake? Do ducks have a natural instinct to not eat plants that are bad for them, in case I miss one? And I will always find the random weed growing that I have not seen before or can immediately identify. I know in the past I have had a problem with wild mustard and did see some information on it being toxic for ducks. It is important to me that my ducks are happy and would like to be able to free range them while in my company, but I am very concerned about what they may get into and it turning into an emergency situation. Please advise.
