How long after when a baby chicken chirps inside the egg ,will it hatch

Hello to all you chicken lovers,

I came home this morn to check on my incubator and heard the first peeps! The kids and I are beside ourselves with excitement! This is our first time incubating, so I am a newbie at this too. One egg has a tiny hole in it and we can see the wee beak poke out and peck once in a while. How long can we expect it to take to hatch? And once it has hatched, do we take it out to out in the brooder box or leave it in incubator a while? Is it best to wait until they've all hatched to take chicks out? With almost 40 eggs to hatch, seems that would get a bit hectic. Is there danger of chicks slipping or having trouble on the plastic hatching mat? It has small holes in it.

Thank you in advance for any advice.

It could take 7 days after you hear chirping they will hatch, keep rotating they egg's and they will be fine..

What? No. Do not rotate your eggs... your chicks are in the position they need to be in for hatching. Do not rotate your eggs at this point- especially when you have an internal pip. Usually within 24 hours after the internal pip they will hatch--- but definitely not another week.

I have heard a chick chirp and there is one egg that has some yellow stuff coming out of it is that normal ? This is my first time to try and hatch some babies i am so excited any help please... But the one egg that has a crack i think is the one that i heard the chirp come from !!!!

Ok I think my chick was stuck so I pealed back some of the egg. I did not move white outside layer it's now back in incubator will it push it's way out on its own or will I have to remove the rest of the egg from around it?
