how long until racoons give up on getting into coop?

I was beating on an interior wall in the run with a hammer and the vibration caused the the slide bolt to move a inch and locked me in.
I'm careful about jarring that lock now

After no one came to my rescue I found a pry bar left in the corner( I never put all my tools up ) Forced the door open enough to open the lock myself. Terrifying! lol

Scariest part was thinking someone did it deliberately but I did it myself.
