I currently have 12 chickens. I had to rehome a bunch of cockerels so I don’t have quite as many. I am planning to order some chicks this spring though!

My problem is I love watching mamas and babies. I cannot tell a good broody no... Then you want to try all the color crosses, and you have to have some babies from your favorites because chickens live life on the edge... I started with just 9 pullets and an old man rooster, haha.

Same! How can you turn a broody down?

I have 3 Tom, and 6 hen Blue Slate turkeys, and 1 Barred Rock rooster and 12 Barred Rock hens. All are approx 2-1/2 years old.
