how many days can turkey eggs be stored for hatching

i would like to know for how many days can turkey eggs
be stored for hatching, its going to be the first year hatching turkeys
i know in chickens the most days they can be stored is ten days
please if anyone knows please let me know thanks

A turkey lays 10 - 12 eggs, every other day before settling in on them, so they can safely sit about 30 days.

In my experience they're at their best for about seven days. You can go to ten days with a slight loss of viability then after that it begins to drop off though not severely. I have hatched them as old as three weeks but not many of that lot hatched.

That's chickens. A turk isn't even done laying her clutch in 7 days.​

My experience with my birds. Wild turkeys often have more than one bird laying in a nest.

We have raised and hatched turkeys for quite some time now. In our experience, we collect eggs on a daily basis and only set once we have a full tray. This could take close to a month and we have had very successful hatches 80% plus. Turkeys tend to NOT lay and egg a day but rather an egg every 2 days. We store them in our garage. Our garage does not freeze but it is cold right now. Store in cartons, pointy end down and turn twice a day. We just elevate one end of the carton and then later in the day take the carton and turn it so the other end is elevated. Easy as pie.

I think a lot has to do with the temperature that you store the eggs in. I can store them longer, because they are stored at a controlled temperature. I use a wine cooler set at 50, with a small saucer of water to keep the humidity up a little. If it is hot out or freezing your eggs will not do as well. I turn my stored eggs everyday.
