How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Four eggs today. Out of the thirty-one females I have. I am sure almost all of them are laying in a big pile of branches that desperately needs to be burned down.

I got a 8.8lb egg at 5.13a.m. today, on the Spring Equinox. She spent a long time hatching and after four days had to be helped from her shell.

Production has been down with molting, and with the hotter weather too, I assume.

Mine are molting as well, that is another reason why the production here is slowed down. I hate when my chickens start molting because they look like I do not take care of them.

I know right! One of my hens loses a bunch of feathers around her neck, lol! She looks funny.
