How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Seven. I know several were eaten. Two of our eaters had yellow streaks on them and I thought, "What the heck is--- oh."

What, are they rolling around in the yolks?

I got one egg out of fifteen hens today. I'm happy with that though because they're 18 weeks, it's the second egg I've seen, and the green beaut is the first the pullet in question has laid.

Does anyone know how to tell if a duck is a drake or female? I have 3 ducks but don't know what they are, not even the breeds.

Okay, so almost 8 weeks old?
At this point you should be able to tell the genders by voice.
Females have more of a quack that's louder, and the males have raspy noises and tend to be more quiet. Another sign is if you had any start quacking later, or aren't even quacking much now, that may be a male.

Here's a video of my duck's voices. They're all girls, so no male to compare. But your girls should be sounding more like this.

Brought in 3. I guess they saw me coming and said, " just 3 for Mr Hands, maybe he can get them in without breaking the 4th. There's a name for "girls" like that.

@Tookie, thank you for the video. Aerial is a female and Cinderella is now Prince Charming. I wanted them to be named after the Disney princesses but apparently Prince Charming didn't get the memo.
