Glad the majority of snakes here are too small to eat eggs. They are a huge source of interest for the chooks though, who love to haze and poke at them!

Yes. I have two layers of thin batting protecting each little egg. Then, I'm going to put some water deterrent fabric over that. I wish that I'd used the machine! It's a little slow going.
