How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Five today, as I was unable to collect yesterday. Feeling under the weather and slept all day besides feeding the beasts. The outside cats convinced me that one of the eggs was just bad, so had to be sacrificed to them. They live for raw egg every now and then, and one has brought me small bird eggs before to throw for her.

I hope you feel better soon.

I accidentally cracked an egg so the chooks had a treat.

I think it was 12 but I lost count when I was distracted but squabbling, someone is laying gorgeous olive coloured with liver coloured spots. One of the new pullets for sure!

Yep, it was a big one. I should've weighed it but turned it into scrambled eggs instead. One of the hens lays these big ones, one every two or three days. Single yolk with extra white. Poor chicken. It must hurt. LOL

My olive ee has given me 2 ouch eggs this week. I take them to my mom. I found my scale so I was happy to be able to weigh them.

6 from 5 hens found in the rough today (galangal ginger come firewood prunings patch). I'm surprised they returned there after my last clear out of 12 eggs.
