We heard Bruce crowing for the 1st time yesterday. He and the neighbors's were going at it back and forth. He might have been doing it before and we just missed it. Hubby who was worried about it all finally feels reassured.

I have at least 8 moulting and a few more that look like they are thinking about starting. Of course. why not? It’s supposed to start snowing - let’s get nekked!

Yes, and it’s lovely to see her get new feathers there, as her old ones were mostly broken. She went through a much harder molt than my Juillet, and Juin has yet to molt at all. I’m thinking of crocheting a chicken sweater for Juin, in case she decides to molt through the winter.
