I am just curious why you feed them back to your chickens? Is this because it is winter and they need extra protein?

4 yesterday.
I only have 5 hens laying, only 2 lay egg every day, the other 3 whenever they fancy doing it.
The rest of the flock just broody on and off, in between not bother until they feel like it which they have not feel like it for awhile now.
I did have a little chat with them about holding up to their end of the contract. The Wyandotte acted that they can not be bothered.

Because they were dirty and I didn't feel like washing them, and I've got plenty of eggs in the fridge anyway. And the chickens enjoy eating them.

Gave it to Penelope as a treat. So is that 1 so far? Or was it there yesterday and some how didn’t get broken by Reenie during the night…
