How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Lots of drama this morning while doing chores. Saw three eggs, and likely two other eggs under the ladies sitting in nest boxes.

Forgot to update 3 yesterday and 2 so far today prob find another one at some point today..

No eggs for weeks for me, short days and molting will do that. I will need to buy again.

Ideally I'll get at least 5 (I have around 15 hens that can lay eggs) but realistically I'll get 0, lol

While my hens (19 + rooster) were molting a month or so ago, I was only getting 2 or 3 eggs/ day. At the end of Oct., I think, or shortly after, I started adding supplemental light in the evening to give them a 12-hour "day." Lately I've been getting 7 to 9 eggs/ day. Some of my hens are older and may not be laying, and about 5 are pullets that may not have come into lay when the days got so short. We'll see what happens.

18 degrees this morning, but still got 3 duck eggs

2 eggs this morning, both nice and clean so they'll be going into the fridge. I rotate eggs, eating the oldest from the fridge and refrigerating the new ones if they are clean and not mis-shapen, which I'll either eat or feed back to the chickens.
