How many eggs from 24 hens

It depends on breed, age, time of year and so many things. You could get somewhere around 16 to 24. Remember chickens don’t lay every day, they molt and production slows around winter and some breeds lay less than others.
these are the breeds I would get

I get between 9-11 eggs per day from 12 pullets on average. Some odd days I will get 5 or 6. Laying usually slows down in winter if you don't provide supplemental lighting, as the days are shorter which triggers the chicken to take a break. This year I decided to keep them laying over the winter, but I think I will allow them to take breaks next and in subsequent years. Pullets will sometimes continue to lay over their first winter regardless. This also depends on your climate.
