I am a cave diver so I have bright LED cave lights on hand and i've been using them for candling but generally they don't work well on Marans Eggs.. They are very bright so i'm wondering if they need to be more focused?
SO
I started researching what kind of LED would work better and there are so many out there up to thousands of lumens, for very low prices. I'm wondering how many lumens is enough to see into these marans eggs without getting a light that is too hot?
Had anyone researched this or knows what brightness works well?
BTW I tried my 21watt HID but it is hot so while it lights up like daylight it isn't good for candling. i can do it but i have to be super fast..
