I have been paying $26.99 for flock raiser at TSC and they eat so much feed it gets expensive. Is this alot for feed? How much do you pay?

I buy organic feed and it is usually 35.00 per bag

In this part of the Great White North, I'm paying roughly $28 CAN for a 25 kg bag of Duckling Starter 22% protein. I'm feeding this to *all* my birds during the winter, supplemented with scratch grains, cracked corn, or C.O.B.

I don't think the prices have gone up or down since I started with ducks a couple of years ago.

Update on the almost $37 I was paying for Kalmbach 20% Flock Maker at Chewy. I found a local mill who has agreed to special order it in for me at $22 a bag. I highly recommend everyone who is buying their feed off of chewy to use Kalmbach's supplier map to find someone local. The mill's website did not have Kalmbach listed which is why i originally did not even think to ask or look, but after seeing them on Kalmbach's map and contacting them they were able to get what I needed ordered.

unfortunately, the nearest dealer on their site is 600 miles from me! $37 from chewy on autoship is still cheaper than what I was feeding before, and unlike Purina at least my chickens will eat the Kalmbach
