how much should i sell polish/easter egger chicks for?

Hey guys! I am selling polish/easter egger chicks in my area and am not sure how much chicks usually go for. I already have people asking to buy and for prices. I was planning on selling them for $8 ea. but kinda thinking that might be too high? what do you guys think?

most chicks on Craigslist are going for around $6-$8 in my area, but wasn't sure if it depends on the breed and stuff

Are you selling polish and EEs or polish EE crosses? If you’re selling them individually probably 5 per EE chick and 8 per polish chick. If you’re selling mixes probably 5 that’s a pretty cool mix

gotcha. they are polish/ee mixes and straight polish. we have a polish rooster and a couple ee hens and some polish hens. so 8 for the polish ones and 5 for the ee polish mix?

I bought 18 EE mutts as 1-week old SR chicks for $45 off CL n thought I got a very good deal.

If $8 for the Polish/ee cross feels right and fair to you, then go for it. You can always offer discounts for multiple purchases, friends only special or a flash sale if you haven’t sold all of them. If you have quality looking parents that’s a plus too. Include their photos when posting the chicks for sale.
Purebred Polish are popular in my area and are going for 10-15.

Also, if you hatch at a time when the big box stores are NOT selling chicks you’ll do much better.
