Adopt a dog that's at least 28" tall and seems like he's twice as long!!! Suddenly there's not enough room in this little house to keep junk sitting around!!!!!!!
Surprising how getting a new dog finally motivated me to clean the living room and get rid of some extra stuff that I'd been "planning" to get rid of "some day" even though I had to get up earlier than usual to walk them before work I still found the energy!

I may start going to bed before midnight now though.

The strangest things kick-start our motivation!!

Add a short but big dog to keep stuff off the floor. Since having our two short dogs nothing can stay on the floor. Kids have to pick their toys up or risking having it chewed up.

nice or move thats how we "de-cluttered" but our house is done in the primitive stuff so its cluttered with candles and dolls and old flags and antiques and chickens (the real kind)! lol

We found that using that method works well... but can be slightly improved upon.

Start off by getting the 28" dog. Make sure it is around 9 months to 1 year old. Make sure that it can easily reach even the backs of the countertops when you are not looking for best effect. Get a breed known to have psychological problems. We particularly like malamute/shepard mixes that have severe seperation anxiety. Leave the house for 4 hours. When you return, anything left out and a good portion of the exposed surfaces of your house (like doorjams and windowsills) will be reduced to easily cleaned up toothpicks.

Note to owners of such animals: Microwaves make great breadboxes!

I can never get too much clutter , we move every 2-3 years or sometimes sooner.
Just put your stuff on the road side and someone comes and gets it. I am sure the couch we found on the roadside and kicked back out and was then adopted by a single MP is still in the barracks somewhere in Ft Knox.
