Our first time with ducks we hatched... we just put crumble out and make sure they have WATER. They ate it without any help. I read wait up to 2 days to feed them anything and that seemed to do the trick. No coaxing or training needed. They do need water asap though. If you ordered them and they are being shipped they will start on crumble and water right away.
