I have 2 quails. One is just seven months & the other is 5 years old and blind. I would like to make their environment fun and comfy especially for the older quail being that he's blind and somewhat on the feeble side. I would like to know that what could be his last days/months/years are as happy accommodating as possible. Any advice?

Try to let him outside sometimes and let him play in the sun. Give him treats. That's what I would do.
Also, he's a very handsome bean

Aww thanks. Yup, that's my handsome boy. Unfortunately, I live in an apartment so I can't let him out for sun but I do have a small heating lamp I point their way when it's chilly. I let them out of their cage about 3 or 4 times a day to walk around the room and also put them in their soft paper bedding box so that they can burrow and relax their feet. I placed my Echo Dot in their cage so that they could listen to relaxing music or bird sounds which I noticed picks up their mood. U mentioned u give ur quails treats. Please enlighten me with what would be some good snacks that they wouldn't turn up their noses to because they are somewhat finicky. Thank u!!

Live insects and finely chopped lettuce are often favorite treats. Mealworms, crickets, dubia roaches are good, although the blind one might not be able to catch the fast ones. Millet, sorghum, hulled sunflower seeds, really any small seed or grain will also be popular. They will need grit to digest all of these safely, so make sure you are also providing a bowl of chick sized grit, “chick grit” is a good small size for them.

Dust baths are also good enrichment. Peat moss, potting soil (without fertilizer pellets or perlite), or just dry soil from a clean area will work. For indoor quail I get a decently tall plastic tub, fill it about an inch or two deep and then put the quail in. They’ll start fluffing around soon enough and if the tub is deep enough the dirt spray won’t carry too far, if you moisten the soil slightly they’ll actually prefer that and there’s less dust that gets everywhere.
