How to sell pigeons online

Hi everyone, my husband and i raise pigeons and sell them. We usually just sell by word of mouth or craigslist.
But we want to make our own website and ship and sell pigeons. But we dont really understand how to do that or how it works. Anyone have any ideas or know how one can sell birds online and ship them?

The shipping part is easy, you just have to get the approved boxes.

Because of the racing sport the post office has set rates for pigeons I think. I've heard estimates of 85 - 125 dls for shipping 2 -4 birds. If you go to Foy's or Stromberg's website you can get an idea of the shipping costs, they sell pigeons too.

On a related note, do you have any ordinary or just regular 'barn' pigeons you would want to sell? I'm always in the market for these, I don't race pigeons or breed the fancy ones. We do use them in safe ways but since I have a lot of hawks and falcons about I do lose them occasionally, nature will take its course. I would love to get a regular or whatever they are called group of pigeons.
