I posted a thread about my hen Chcocolate, molting. Im not to worried when a hen molts, unless they act really off. She is... she poops water with a little chuncks, and occasionally a hard but runny poop, if that makes sense. How do I fix this? I changed her feed to chick feed along with a 20% protien all flock feed from cluck and co. This has not helped her.

Besides the runny poop, there is her breathing... Last night on the monitor when I checked it I saw her breathing really hard. So we rushed there because hard breathing is always really scary. We brought her inside for the night. She slept with no breathing issues. How do I solve the poop issue? Also is breathing hard normal?

woah, I have to say I'm not completely sure what's going on here, Is there any water or wet/muddy bedding in there coop? I think the breathing might have to do with a respiratory problem but if she breaths fine inside maybe the coop is too humid or something. I'm not sure.
Maybe offer probiotics in the water and see if that helps her poo

Okay. Im ordering probiotics. Basically, she is a really healthy bird but went through a really tough molt. Ever since her poops look like this (pic bellow.) No there is not went or muddy bedding, and I doubt its humid since we keep windows open all the time, and it has not rained for probably 1 month.

A lot of hens will act off during molt.

Feed her her normal feed. A few treats of egg, fish or meat a couple of times a week.

Not sure about the breathing, I'd just try to relax. If she was having real difficulties like respiratory illness, then issue would have continued when you brought her inside.

Check to make sure ventilation is good in the coop.
