I have male and female ducks. She is starting to lay fertile eggs. I bought an incubator and did some research. How can I store these eggs so I can collect about 9 to fertilize them. I heard to put them in the fridge but it also lessens the hatching rate. Can anyone explain?

Do not put them in the refrigerator. Store them at moderate temperature and humidity in a clean medium, turn a couple of times daily, and incubate once the desired number has been collected. Good luck for a successful incubation and hatch.
I am having a hard time maintaining constant temperatur. Can I incubate an egg each time I get and egg? And keep adding to the incubator as I get them and mark it down?

I wouldn't. You would have what is called a staggered hatch. Staggered hatches are when not all eggs reach hatching development within a day or two of each other.

I have never used an incubator but I am sure others will chime in soon.

I just know staggering a hatch is not the easiest or the best especially when starting out.

In the mean time it will help others to help you to know more about your set up.
What brand and size incubator?
What is the humidity reading?
What is the temperature reading?
Are you using calibrated thermometer and hydrometer?

What are you trying to hatch (duck, chicken, quail)?
