How to tell for sure if my goats are pregnant

Hey everyone. I got goats a few months back and the previous owner threw in a free breeding since we want them for milk goats. This is my first time with goats, how do I tell if they are pregnant? Ruby has the green tag and is 3 years old and had triplets last year. Delilah has the red tag and is 2 years old and had twins last year. If they are for sure pregnant they would be due in about 2 months

Green tag looks to be pregnant going off that here belly looks more full than the other. You can feel around their abdomen to see is you can feel the babies kicking.
If they are pregnant, when delivery comes closes they will start to bag up, topically a week before they’re due you’ll see their bags get fuller. Sometime right before delivery you’ll notice their udder become really full and you’ll know it go time.
You could also get them ultra sounds, but they are most likely to far along to do than.

I agree, Ruby looks “fuller” than Delilah - about 3 months along is when they usually start to look pregnant. I like to do blood tests for pregnancy, they take about a week to come back, and then you know for sure You would usually start to feel kids kicking around the 4-month mark, at least, that’s when I usually start to feel them on my Nigerian Dwarf does. If you have the breeding date you can use the American Goat Society Gestation Calculator to figure out their possible due dates

Pregnant goats really start to show at about three months along. Watch the area where the rear udder joins the body. Changes due to pregnancy will first show up there. In the last month you can feel the kids. Stand behind the doe. Put your arms around the doe and clasp your hands together right in front of the udder. Push up sharply. You can feel the kids as they come back down. They feel like hard lumps.

She’s got a bulge on the right like she could be pregnant, maybe a singleton? Here a pic of my Josephine confirmed pregnant through a blood test, about 2 1/2 months along (she’s usually a very narrow goat, so she shows well) hay belly on the left, babies on the right.
