How would a chicken break there neck?

I found my rooster dead on his back on the floor last night his neck limp like it was broken I do have another rooster but the dead one Gizmo used to beat up hulk and hulk would run from him so I don't think it was him but what could have caused this?

Flying into a wall or hitting another object while flying is always possibl

A limp neck doesn't always mean the neck was broken. The body would be limp if rigor mortis passed so it could be a multitude of causes. The time I found my 8 week old pullet dead, her neck was completely limp but she died in her sleep according to the video I reviewed.
