My 9 week old chicks hurt her foot somehow. No idea how or what happened. But she’s can’t walk at all and her foot is shaking when I pick her up. The other leg seems fine.
Her 4h toe now curls up and the entire knuckle seems like it’s bent the wrong way. What should I do?
She was happy and healthy until this happened and continues to eat and drink normally. She kind of rolls to the food and water; won’t use her legs at all.
I’ve separated her from the other chicks. Note they’re still inside and hadn’t been moved to the outdoor coop yet as I have a mixed flock and the youngest are only 4 weeks.
I’m so sad because she’s my favorite chicken.
