That was an adult drake, so just happened to be there. These my first ever incubator hatch and the last hatch for a very long time. The ducklings were out for supervised outdoor time.

She hatched out of an egg we ordered online. I do not know what she was exactly, other than the obvious frizzle naked neck part. I do know she was part black copper maran, but only because of what her babies looked like. She doesn't look BCM at all.
