Most breeds can adapt to most climates. I live in a hot climate so I have provided plenty of shade for my birds. I also have auto waterers at every coop so they always have plenty of water. Personally I would get the breeds I really want. Most hatchery sites have breed selectors to help you. Good luck with your flock and have fun...
