His daughters were our egg layers for several years (only had a total of 5) & most of his sons were quite delicious, though not real meaty. Several lost during free ranging, some sold as young roos. Last of his line laid eggs in 2019.

I have to be mean & dominate this thread!

This is Roo. We had him just under a year. He came home the same day as
Din-Din. He didn't sire any chicks that we are aware of. He co-existed w/ Din-Din, free ranging w/o an actual coop until we moved him into temporary quarters @ a friends' place.

We were given 30 days end of Oct 2014, to move off of property that owner sent into foreclosure, found our own property, but didnt get into it until Dec 2014 - spent 5 weeks in a hotel. We moved our birds from friends place end of Jan 2015. Unfortunately, he & 2 of our 3 bantam silkie mixes didn't survive that cooping situation (our 3 - 8x8 hoop coops & 2 - 10x10 dog kennels).

I have no idea what breed he is/was. He was a COOL little guy though & I'd love to have more like him.

I like to draw rough sketches of chickens in my free time. I draw both traditionally and digitally, but digital art takes more time, (and a computer) so I mostly draw on paper.
I like to practice drawing different breeds, patterns and expressions.

I love seeing other people's chicken drawings too, so other artists are welcome to show off their works here!

If you'd like your chickens possibly drawn by me at some point, post some pictures! Feel free to add a small description of your feathered friends if you want.
I can try drawing other birds like turkeys, ducks, parrots, pigeons, etc.

Note: most of the birds in these photos are not owned by me (except the budgie).
Can you do one of these?

the first one is Vulture (a prairie bluebell egger hen)

the second and third photo, is Tomato (I think she might be a wyandotte, and shes a Hen)

and the last photo, is Blue (a Blue Andalusian Hen)
