i got an older chicken with swollen abdomen

i dont know whats causing this, i think maybe vent gleet. i tried researching but i just dont know shes an old lady maybe 6 years old. is she a goner? shes got a swollen abdomen and a squishy crop and shes been like this for a while but i try to keep her clean. the thing is tho she doesnt seem like shes dying, she eats, drinks, walks around, she seems sluggish but not like dying. but she does stink. what would you do? is there any medicine i can buy? thanks guys in advance

Yes, that's vent gleet. I can see white stuff on her, and you said it stinks.

I'd put her on probiotics, such as the powders you can buy and put in her/their water, or Greek yogurt is another great source.

Then pick her up some Monistat or generic cream, anything that's got miconazole in it. After you clean her butt area, smear that on her vent, and give her a small amount, like a half a teaspon orally. If you can do this two or three times a day, it should just take a few days to clear her up.

The probiotics might help her crop and digestive system too.
