i have a disabled rooster

hello your site has helped me a bunch with rasing my new baby chicks.

i have a odd question. i have a rooster that had his leg injured a while back its kind of bent out wards and his other leg his foot is deformed since birth. i have noticed that the nail on the deformed foot has been scratching the other leg ever time he walks i really want to know if you can cut that nail of or if there is a way to completely remove the nail with out hurting him. he seems ok other wise. what should i do????????

A better description would help a lot...if worse comes to worse, you can always plunk him on the computer scanner and scan him in...
