I have the ugliest chicken EVER! Seriously!!!!

I have always thought there were really NO ugly chickens. I think they are all beautiful. I love Turkens and even Showgirls have grown on me. Well, my son just HAD to have Silkies. After months of failed hatches, dying babies, etc. we finally ended up with 3. One white and 2 self blue. I heard there were some feathering issues with the self blue silkies but hey.....how bad could it be? Right???? I'll show you.

This is my male. I love him. Really I do. But this guy is UGLY!!! Pardon the extremely pathetic quality cell phone pics....even they are good enough to show this baby's ugly, though. Oh, he is about 15 weeks old.

I think silkies and turkens and show girls are about as ugly as crusty boogers to begin with. But yes, that is an exceptionally ugly chicken.

oh well. Some times things are so ugly theyre cute.... hehe.

lol i have ya beat!..this is my baby silkie.. about 8 weeks old ita a mutt silkie, dont know if its a hen or roo so we call it Pat!

Amos...my husband agrees about them ALL being ugly anyway!!! I finally told him to stop thinking of our white Silkie (who is gorgeous BTW) as a chicken start thinking of her as a cat with a beak so he could appreciate how pretty she is!!! LOL

I don't know. I have always thought silkies were so cute. Then we got some. They were supposed to be grey but this one is just UGLY. The other 2 are cute. Check this liitle ugly thing out.
