I need hatching support

I thought in the video, first few seconds as it was try to raise up, it really looked like valgus deformity either in both legs, or especially in the left leg. If the left leg gets worse, it might be called a twisted tibia. In your pictures, the legs look normal.

Yes, someone else had said valgus, but from what I read on it this affected broilers bred for meat. The ones that grow too fast for their own good. I didnt see anything about it in other birds, but that doesnt mean the info inst out there.

I'm waiting for some other videos to load to youtube. He is moving around very well now. Almost normally, and he is quick too. Legs are a little turned out still, but he seems to be doing well. He was drinking when I came in to get the videos of him.

Here's the videos

he does better looks like in the brooder than on the cement flow, he's just recently out i would continue with hobbling hum, and maybe try getting him to push up a bit as that leg is still going out but then again like I said I'm not an eggspert, until he's standing correctly

I am agreeing with you on the hobble. I think I will use a thicker piece of vetwrap like the pictures in one of the articles posted before.

Hahahahahaha!! Look at how this chick fell asleep!:gig:lau:gig:lau

they are funny, mine was a pain it wanted a empty paper towl roll with a rag over it so wasn't slick , they love perching too as soon as possible lol as it's natural inborn I think

Yup I plan on having hubby make me a chick perch for them. I didnt have one for the longest time for my oldest hen and now she likes to sleep in the nest box in the new coop. I keep meaning to take them out at night, as I made them removable for easy cleaning, but.... yeah:idunno

I went out and hobbled the chick again. Guess what! After I hobbled him with bigger pieces of vetwrap to better support his legs, and a thinner piece in the middle to give him better walking motion, he moved like a chick with no issues!! Of course he didnt want to do it so well for the camera, but here's a video.

P.s. dont skip this video. He does some funny stuff right at the start:lau

Dang it forgot the link!

theres always hope, mine was just determined took me almost a day to get one on by myself that stayed on she was a smart alec and kept taking em off lol, was seriously considering super clue , but your chick should have a good happy life
