Hello everyone! So I have a duckling and a gosling. I am going to go on a ski trip and was planning on bringing them with me because my car has an outlet so I could plug in their heat lamp. On the drive there we are going to stop to go tubing and it’s supposed to be around 20° outside. Their heat lamp won’t work when my car is not running. I’m going to add extra cushioning and blankets in there Bruder. I could leave them home with my house sitter, but I wouldn’t really feel comfortable doing that. There are still little and very attached to me. They’re around 2 to 3 weeks. If my car got cold, would they be OK? This is all with their best interest so whatever is best for them is what I’m going to do. We’re leaving tomorrow please help me decide this. Also, I have another gosling hatching soon, so there might be three birds.

Any help would be very appreciate! Thanks!

I personally would leave them home with a sitter as it will be much less stressful on them to not travel. How long will you be gone and what will you do with them while you are skiing? I personally wouldn’t want to leave young babies in a freezing car for any amount of time without heat on them. I think they will be much safer left at home. But that is just my opinion.
