I never knew geese have teeth!

This morning I typed in google to see if geese have teeth. And I saw pictures of geese with serrated teeth on their bills and their tongues too! I am definitely not getting any goose as a pet. Nope!

They do look like teeth.But there actually just tiny filters.

Geese are very nice if you spend time with them.

dont be so quick to jump, geese can be very lovely pets
cats have teeth, dogs have teeth, you have teeth
its in how you raise them, if you raise it up from a gosling and just stay clear during mating season (if you get a gander or a goose on eggs) then you should be fine

Geese DO NOT have teeth. Since they are grazers they have adapted to be able to grab and "cut" grasses to eat. The "sharp" points on their tongue make it easier for them to cut blades of grass.

My Embden gander can sure bite during mating season and his bill has serrated edges which make it hurt worse. Him and his mate are lovely to be around now that mating season is over.
