ID my chicks

Both were supposed to be golden comets, but one is growing much faster and the smaller one has black wings. What is it???

Thank you. Much needed!!! I tried rescuing a spraddled legged sapphire, but was too I got the black winged one as her companion, but had to get the golden for her friend

Top one is a Rhode Island Red and the bottom one is the Golden Comet.

Temperament really varies for RIRs. Mine is one of the nicest birds in the flock, super contrary to all the stories about mean RIRs.

Rhode Island reds were always one of my favorite breeds! I use to have about 10 and I dont remember having a mean one. My friend has 2 golden comets though and they actually attacked her little brother's face
